If 'MacGilvray' is entered all those with known alternative spellings of 'MacGilvray' and / or associated surnames will be listed. |
| An 'A' in this field will return all those with the intial letter of their First Name equal to 'A'; i.e. Alan, Ann, Anne, Angus, Archibald, Arthur, etc. It is equivalent to 'A*'. Helpful hint. Entering a First Name will speed up processing time as well as reduce the number of matching enteries. |
