The Armistice was signed on November 11th 1918, but that was basically only a ceasefire agreement. The official end of hostilities came with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28th 1919.

This is why, as in this case, a number of war memorials show 1914 - 1919 and not 1914 - 1918.
