East India Company - recruites 1772-73List of men recruited by Murdoch McLaine (19th of Lochbuy) to serve in the East India Company [HEIC] 1772-73. A very important document for Mull military history as among the 78 names, 15 or 16 are from Mull. The Mull ones are :
NB Lachlan McLean from 'Kilmory' could be from Kilmore in Mull or Kilmore in mainland Argyle.
